Moviegoers are in for a treat.
The Campbell River Festival of Film will soon be kicking off its 2020 winter season.
Films will be screening on select Tuesdays from Jan. 28th till Mar. 24th at the Tidemark Theatre.
The festival is a successful partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival film circuit, showcasing international films in Campbell River that would not normally play in local theatres.
The notable award-winning films set to play include:
- Tel Aviv On Fire – Jan. 28th
- The Farewell – Feb. 11th
- Village Rockstars – Feb. 25th
- Arab Blues – Mar. 10th
- La Belle Epoque – Mar. 24th
All proceeds from the festival will go back to the community, with bursaries and camera equipment given to local schools.
In previous years, the festival has put on bonus screenings as well to help raise funds to support various programs in Campbell River.
2020 season passes are now on sale for $50 and individual tickets for each film cost $12.
