Campbell River’s own Teal Harle reached a new personal best after competing at the 2020 X Games in Aspen, Colorado.
The games, which began on Thursday and wrap up today, saw the 23-year-old freestyle skier finish 11th in ski slopestyle and 12th in ski big air.
Harle has competed at the X Games twice before, finishing 17th last year in ski slopestyle and 19th in 2018.
He has had a successful competition season thus far, winning a silver medal last month at the big air freestyle World Cup Beijing and a bronze at the FIS World Cup Atlanta.
