FortisBC crews have fixed the damaged natural gas line at Highway 19A/Rockland Road.
The highway has re-opened with one lane alternating traffic.
FortisBC is sending out a reminder to get in touch with BC 1 Call before digging.
“Always call or click to BC 1 Call before you dig to obtain information on the location of buried gas lines and other utilities,” says FortisBC’s Corporate Communications Specialist Lauren Lea. “This service is free of charge and helps everyone dig safely.”
