The Campbell River RCMP is saying thanks.
This, after a stolen Polaris Ranger UTV and a flat deck utility trailer were found by some tipsters in the community.
Police were called at around 9:20am on Wednesday after a property caretaker saw a beige Dodge pickup truck smash through a wrought iron gate, towing away the trailer and UTV.
The stolen items and the truck used in the theft were located later that day.
The incident is still under investigation and the RCMP is looking for any information that may lead to finding the suspect(s) involved.
