Strathcona Regional District Electoral Area C Director Jim Abram is recovering from a major back injury.
He’s been hospitalized after falling nine metres off the roof of his workshop earlier this month.
“On April 2nd, I was working on my second day of removing and replacing approximately 6,000 screws from my metal sided and roofed workshop in the rear of my property,” Abrams says.
He adds that he’s “lucky to be alive” and hopes “to be back to business ASAP.”
Abram is currently at the Campbell River hospital.
