JAK’s Beer Wine & Spirits is lending a helping hand to the Campbell River Food Bank.
Both locations in town will be donating ten per cent of sales made on Saturday, May 30th to the charitable society.
The upcoming fundraiser is part of its second annual JAK’s Gives Back campaign.
“We normally kick off summer with this campaign, but we simply couldn’t wait on the sidelines when local food banks desperately need our support now to keep shelves stocked and families fed,” an online release says.
$1 from every bottle of JAK’s Gratitude wine sold this month will also be donated.
All 13 JAK’s locations across the province will be participating in the fundraiser.
Food banks will be supported across Vancouver, New Westminster, Richmond, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Penticton and Williams Lake as well.
