Southgate Middle School was evacuated due to a bomb threat this morning.
Superintendent Thomas Longridge says all students and staff were safety transferred.
The four classes that were scheduled to go to Sayward for a field trip are safely on route. RCMP have secured the site and are carefully searching the building.
It may take several hours for the RCMP to conclude their search, but students will remain at Georgia Park until the building is clear.
