There’s some roadwork planned for Willow Point.
The City of Campbell River says drivers can expect delays as crews will be re-paving multiple roads in the area tomorrow between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
On Hilchey Road at Eardley Road, a single lane will be alternating traffic during paving.
You can expect detours and full road closures while work is underway around Eardley Road (at Hilchey Road) and Erickson Road (between Harrogate and Fairmile Roads).
The city says this work will take a couple of hours to complete in each location and all work is weather dependent.
Along with re-paving, crews will also be working on boulevards and medians in the area starting tomorrow until July 29th.
While work is underway, city manager Deborah Sargent is asking drivers in the area to use caution behind the wheel.
She says posted safety signage is “just to remind people to be extra cautious when we’re doing work in and around our roadways.”
