‘Golf Days’ to support Campbell River non-profits

The Campbell River Golf and Country Club is gearing up for ‘Golf Days.’

It’s hosting fundraising golf tournaments all month long dedicated to helping local non-profit organizations.

Each non-profit has been assigned a Saturday where 15 per cent of all profits from green fees, carts, retail and food and beverage will be donated to their cause.

  • August 8th – Special Olympics
  • August 15th – Campbell River Hospice House
  • August 22nd – Cameryn’s Cause
  • August 29th – Transition Society

Due to COVID-19, the club says many fundraiser golf tournaments had to be put on pause this year.

“Without these fundraisers, non-profit organizations feel the lack of fundraising dollars that help support their beneficial community programs,” the club says.

To ease the financial toll during these unprecedented times, general manager Amanda Raleigh, her family and staff at the club came up with the idea for ‘Golf Days.’

You’re now encouraged to come out and show your support.

“Rent a bay with friends at Velocity, check out the latest brands in our retail store, book a tee time for the golf course, or relax on our new patio for a bite to eat and a beverage,” the club adds.
