Here’s your chance to own a little piece of the Comox Valley.
You can do so by playing a new board game, Comox Valley-Opoly.
Based on Monopoly, the game takes a local spin on the original game, but the board is filled with parts of the valley.
Landmarks include Lewis Park, 40 Knots Winery, Denman Island, Hornby Island, Mount Washington, and North Island College, and the Comox Valley Airport, to name a few.
Senior Outset Media vice president, Jean Paul Teskey, said the company is “ecstatic that the citizens of Comox Valley have chosen to welcome us into their homes this summer and include us in weekly game nights with friends and family.”
It should arrive at the Courtenay Walmart this week or next.
