There’s a temporary road closure coming to downtown Campbell River as city crews look to repair a storm drain.
Starting August 10th, you can expect minor delays along Cedar Street between 13th and 14th Avenues from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
The work is expected to take up to two weeks to complete.
The city says access by car and by foot will be available for nearby properties, although no street parking will be available.
It says access for cars to the courthouse, JJ’s Pub and Tyee Chevrolet parking lots will be maintained.
The road closure will allow crews to replace a collapsed storm drain along the route, and once complete, the upgraded drain will help direct water off the road.
