Strathcona Regional District reopening board meetings to the public

The Strathcona Regional District is gearing up to welcome the public back to its board meetings starting September 16th.

You’ll have to RSVP for a spot, as there will only be eight seats available for delegations, media, and members of the public.

Safety protocols have been put in place, which includes limited seating capacity to meet social distancing requirements, new sanitization stations, and the frequent cleaning of high touch areas.

The district says these new measures will allow staff, directors, and members of the public to stay safe while continuing to maintain operations.

The SRD adds that it will continue recording all meetings and encourages the public to view them online here.

If you wish to attend a meeting, send an email [email protected] or call (250) 830-6701 to request a seat.
