Bus service during the holidays will be a little different this year.
With Christmas less than a week away, BC Transit has released its holiday bus schedule for the Campbell River Transit System.
It says public buses will NOT be running Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.
And, unlike previous years, there will be no extended New Year’s Eve service. This is due to COVID-19.
However, BC Transit adds that buses will be running on their regular schedule Christmas Eve, between December 27th – 30th, and New Year’s Eve.Â

Holiday bus service in Campbell River:
- December 24th – Regular Service
- December 25th to 26th – No Service
- December 27th to 31st – Regular Service
- January 1st – No Service
- January 2nd – Regular Service
