A man sentenced to life in prison in a Campbell River Court room, about a month ago for murder, in the killing his partner on Hanson Island, is now facing charges in Manitoba.
Jason Michalyshyn, a constable with the Winnipeg police service, says the crime happened in 2006. Andretti is also facing a charge of committing and indignity to human remains.
The matter is now before the courts.
