With BC Hydro aerial lifts, a BBQ, and educational information regarding the project, the John Hart Community Site event was a success.
BC Hydro spokesperson Stephen Watson says within the first hour, they saw over 300 people.
Watson says they removed all the rock from the tunnels, and once the people saw the tunnels, it really put things into perspective.
He adds the event achieved its goal to allow the community to come out and look at the project so far.
