UPDATE: Snowfall warning issued for Campbell River

UPDATE Feb. 14th: Environment Canada has updated its snowfall warning. More details here.

Snow covers the Campbell River area this morning and more is on the way.

The Environment Canada snowfall warning remains in place for Eastern Vancouver Island from Courtenay to Campbell River, and Nanoose Bay to Fanny Bay.

The snow will continue to fall this morning until it eases this afternoon.

Another 10 centimetres is expected today (Saturday), on top of several centimetres of snow that fell overnight.

Environment Canada is now asking you to be prepared to adjust your driving with the changing road conditions, adding that your visibility may be reduced at times in heavy snow.
