Investigators from the Transportation Safety Board of Canada are investigating a fatality that happened after a worker on a prawn fishing boat went overboard.
The incident happened on Friday and investigators were in Port Hardy where the boat came to shore.
Senior Marine investigator, Glenn Budden.
He says they are not able to speculate as to the cause of the fatality.
Budden says they will release any outstanding safety deficiencies if they need to be put out, before their official report is done.
