Pipes hindering fish migration remain a problem in Willow Creek

A report now shows that it is unlikely the Telus infrastructure that’s in Willow Creek can be removed.

The report from city staff shows the two city pipes can be taken out but it would cost over a million dollars to remove the Telus structure.

City Deputy Manager Ron Neufled.

Neufled says they are working with Telus on alternatives.

All the work must also be done within the fish window before they start migrating up stream in the fall.
