There are no injuries to report after a float plane made an unscheduled landing in the water near Painter’s Lodge this morning (Thursday).
The local Coast Guard tells My Campbell River Now the plane went down just before 8:00 am near a sandbar. They say the plane has since been recovered and secured to a float plane dock.
According to the Coast Guard, this case is still ongoing and hasn’t been ‘closed off’ yet.
