Downtown BIA thrilled with revitalized gardens

It just goes to show that a little mulch, greenery, and hard work can really go a long way.

The Downtown BIA is thanking the city’s Parks Department crew – Brad, Tasha, Donye, Lauren, and Julia – for their efforts in ‘revitalizing’ the landscape framing the Campbell River Art Gallery and Visitor Centre.

The BIA notes the building, located on Shoppers Row, is the “literal heart of our downtown” and forms “a lasting impression on our residents and visitors.”

They say the use of large rocks, plus the rivers of rock, ties two of Campbell River’s cultural centres together – the Art Gallery and the Tidemark Theatre.

“We look forward to this much-anticipated revitalization which will help add more interest and color to our downtown,” the BIA adds.
