The City of Campbell River is getting the word out about construction happening this week at the Big Rock Boat Ramp.
This coming Thursday, Aug. 12th — through the day and at night — the City says paving crews will be working on the south end of the ramp’s parking lot, as well as the adjacent section of the South Island Highway.
It’s all part of the City’s ongoing waterfront project.
“This will require temporary closure of the south driveway (the boat ramp exit) and temporary removal of some parking spots near the exit,” staff notes.
With this in mind, they’re asking drivers to plan ahead to use overflow parking. “Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding,” the City adds.
