The Haig Brown festival is a celebration of the environment and social causes.
And many environmentalists will be given recognition for Campbell River’s fourteenth annual Stewardship Awards.
If you know of any business, group, or individual who has made a huge contribution to our community’s environment, this is a chance to nominate them for an award.
The award categories include air quality, water and energy conservation, habitat protection, urban agriculture, and waste reduction.
As well, there will be youth reduction recognition, and an environmental excellence for outstanding achievements.
