Speaking in Nanaimo today recently, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May said Canada must do more to support veterans.
May says they’re committed to reversing damaging changes brought in under the New Veterans Charter, like the lump sum payments disabled veterans are getting instead of lifetime support.
May says they also want to ensure veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder have access to a service dog if they want one, because they reduce PTSD in 82 percent of cases.
