Several fentanyl deaths are now reported on Vancouver Island, including the Comox Valley and Campbell River area.
Regional Coroner Matt Brown says up until May 31 of this year, two fentanyl detected deaths have been confirmed in Campbell River, one in Courtenay, seven in Nanaimo and two cases down island in Victoria.
Brown says the BC Coroners Service has this warning for drug users.
Meanwhile Brown says the investigation continues on the recent death of a man and woman found dead in an SUV in Campbell River, however he says foul play has been ruled out.
