The weather is impacting garbage collection in Campbell River.
According to the city, snow has halted Emterra’s Zone 5 curbside collection for today (Dec. 6). This zone includes the downtown, Campbellton, Campbell River north and Quinsam areas.

With this in mind, officials ask residents in affected areas to remove items from the curb. If your garbage is not collected today, you can put out two cans next Monday, Dec. 13.
The city adds that updates are always posted to its Facebook page, and the CR Recycles App, found at the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
