Meteorologists are predicting we could get upwards of 100 millimeters of rain over the next four days, as a major weather system moves through the area.
Matt MacDonald with Environment Canada says it might help alleviate the drought, but this much rain all at once could lead to flash flooding.
MacDonald says people need to make sure drain spouts, culverts and sewer covers are clear so all that water has somewhere to go.
He says roads will also be very slippery because of the buildup of oil, so drivers should be extra careful.
