The BC Wild Fire Management Branch has just repositioned their amphibious air tanker group to Campbell River.
Fire Information officer Mavi Saini says this is to make sure they can quickly respond to fires.
She says they monitor conditions every day and can reposition their tanker team at any time if they are needed elsewhere.
She says they have various teams across the Province and should there be a big fire risk in another part of the Province the team will head there.
