Police on Quadra Island are asking for help in finding a wanted man, and might include a cash award for his arrest.
Police say Mariano (Mario) De Rose is wanted on one count of uttering threats against a person and another for uttering threats against property.
De Rose is believed to be on Quadra Island but is avoiding police, according to a release. They say he is described as six foot one, 229 pounds with a grey beard and brown eyes.
Police ask anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact Quadra RCMP at 250-285-3631.
They add if the information leads to an arrest, you might be eligible for an up to $2,000 cash award.
