A man is dead and a woman is in hospital after a shooting in Campbell River.
RCMP say it appears the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot and the woman is being treated for a gunshot wound.
It happened in the Upland Drive and Robron Road area yesterday afternoon.
Campbell River RCMP Cst. Maury Tyre says victim services is helping the families of those involved.
He says RCMP are asking people to avoid discussing the incident or posting photos on social media.
Tyre says there is no ongoing threat to the public.
