Campbell River RCMP are looking for dashcam footage of a vehicle after a report of an attempted abduction.
Officers say they were told the attempt happened at around 10 a.m. today on Holm Road in the Willow Point area.
The vehicle is described as a newer model white Mercedes cargo van with no side windows or other markings.
They say licence plates were not obtained, but the lower area of the van was dirty. Police did not reveal who the reported target of the abduction was.
Police ask anyone with video footage of the van in the area around that time, dashcam footage or a vehicle matching the description to call Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221.
