In the Woodburn Road area, north of the Oyster River, Conservation Officer Steve Petrovic has posted signs warning of a cougar in the area, after the big cat attacked a pair of dogs being taken for a walk by their owner in the Woodburn Road area.
Petrovic says fortunately the dog suffered only minor injuries.
