Campbell River FOG online contest for kids is in final voting stage

As a way to help raise awareness on fats, oils, and greases (FOG), the City of Campbell River is on the lookout for a new mascot.

In collaboration with School District 72, the city has seen children from schools submit their designs and three finalists were chosen.

To become involved in the competition, you visit the City of Campbell River’s facebook page and hit the like button on your favorite design, where the design with the most likes by February 10th not only wins, but the design will be used throughout the FOG awareness campaign by the city.

The winner will also get a $50 gift card for one of Campbell River’s local businesses.

For more information on the campaign, visit the City of Campbell River’s website.
