Food and activities are on the docket for this Family Day, at Campbell River’s Sportsplex.
The city’s Recreation and Culture team will kick off the day with a pancake breakfast for families from 9 until 11 am. It’s $8 for adults, $3 for kids, and free for kids under three.
There will also be a variety of activities, including the Family gym, basketball, racquetball, table tennis, crafts, games, and a book giveaway with Don Pennell.
For lunch, pizza will be served from 11 am to 1 pm, with the same prices as the pancake breakfast, according to the City of Campbell River.
The activities last from 10 am to 2 pm, and they are all completely free for families.
