Coffee with 9-1-1 Dispatcher event set for Campbell River on Monday

People in Campbell River have the chance to sit down and talk with an RCMP Dispatcher, starting next week.

As part of the North Island Operational Communication Centre’s search for people interested in applying for a position, or who want to learn more about it, the Coffee With a Dispatcher event provides an opportunity to ask questions regarding the vital role they play every day.

Jaclyn Tremblett, a recruiter with the Island’s 911 Police Dispatch team says she’s excited to talk about how much her job means to her.

“Come and join me for a coffee”, says Tremblett.

“ I can’t wait to share why I love coming to work as a 911 Police Dispatcher and let people know how rewarding it is to play a big role in keeping our community safe.”

To request a time with Tremblett, the Campbell River RCMP says you send her an email directly, with the email including your preferred date and time, your name, phone number and email address.

The event is set for Monday, February 27th, from 10:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. in The Island Grind Coffee Shop at the Discovery Harbour Shopping Centre.
