Motorists can expect disruptions while using Sayward Road during March, as crews will be doing work on Sayward Bridge, starting next week.
They’ll be performing a bridge re-deck, which will result in road closures starting Monday, March 6th.
The road work is scheduled from March 6th to March 24th, with closures between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, except for emergency vehicles which can use the bridge between 8:20 am to 12:30 pm, and then 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Mainroad North Island Contracting advises drivers to show respect to the work crews by slowing down.
The road will be open to all on evenings and weekends.
