Local students are not going to be able to go to school this summer.
School District 72 had announced they are canceling summer school programs.
Superintendent Tom Longridge writes, in a message to parents, they were informed the teachers union will be continuing their strike action into July. That means all sites where summer school would be taught will be picketed.
