Campbell River residents can expect a road closure on Elk River Bridge, next week.
CMF construction crews are planning on installing bridge girders, with road closures expected because of the work.
There will be two separate hour-long closures set to go from 9 to 10 a.m., and from 2 to 3 p.m., with traffic not allowed to cross the detour road during both closures.
The construction company advises residents to follow traffic personnel’s instructions and to not enter the work area for safety reasons.
They add that crews will be doing their best to clear the road for emergency vehicles who need to go through the bridge during the closures.
The closures are scheduled to start next Tuesday the 25th.
