Drivers using Highway 19A should be aware there will be construction and some delays at 6th Avenue starting Tuesday morning.
Work on utilities along the highway near the Maritime Heritage Centre is scheduled for Tuesday to Saturday, from 7 am to 7 pm daily.
North and southbound traffic will be accommodated at peak times and alternating single-lane traffic flow will be in place as needed. There may be minor delays of 5-10 minutes.
The city asks people to use alternate routes where possible and follow the direction of traffic control personnel and any signage in place. Work at this intersection will be completed intermittently from now until late August 2023.
