It doesn’t look like the northern section of Area D is going to be joining Campbell River.
Chief Elections officer Lynn Ketch has released the official numbers from the referendum vote that happened Saturday.
84 percent of the 699 votes who came out voted ‘no’ to joining the city. Campbell River had offered to bring sewer service to homes in the northern section of Area D if they joined the city.
