To mark World Ocean Day Thursday, the Maritime Heritage Centre is offering free admission, and the aquarium is half-price.
It’s halfway through Oceans Week, but there are still plenty of activities happening to mark the city’s connection with the marine environment. The Maritime Heritage Centre and Discovery Passage Aquarium are open from 10 am to 5 pm with discounted admission on June 8. Also tomorrow, the Centre and Explorer Lab are hosting a sea school drop-in from 3-5 pm, with the chance to learn about marine mammal sounds, and clam gardening.
Tomorrow night ‘Where the Wind Meets The Tide’ Season 2 will premiere at the centre. More episodes of the documentary series will be shown Friday night. For tickets visit the Maritime Heritage Centre website.
