As of 12:46 p.m., the boat has been removed from the lane, with the RCMP adding that the highway will be fully clear by 12:55 p.m.

Campbell River RCMP are asking you to be careful while driving, as one northbound lane between Jubilee and Inland Island Hwy is blocked.
Police said on social media that at 9:17 this morning, a boat that fell off a trailer has been blocking the lane.
They also ask you to pay attention to traffic control and to leave your cameras and phones alone while driving.
They are estimating the road will be clear by 1 p.m.
