The outpatient lab at the Campbell River hospital will be closed tomorrow.
Island Health says that due to limited staff availability, the outpatient lab at North Island Hospital in Campbell River will be closed on Saturday [Aug 19].
Sample drop-off is still available during normal Saturday hours from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the outpatient lab. Inpatient and emergency lab services will not be affected.
Patients requiring non-urgent lab work can attend the lab when it re-opens as scheduled on Monday, August 21 or the LifeLabs location in Courtenay for service on the weekend.
