Saturday bus routes cancelled in Campbell River

Public transit users be aware, more bus cancellations today in Campbell River are affecting all routes throughout the day.

People looking to travel between downtown and Willow Point are most affected, as well as passengers hoping to connect to Oyster River. In all, 45 routes have been cancelled, due to an ongoing shortage of bus drivers.

The cancellations affect routes all day today until after 10 pm.

BC Transit’s local contractor PWTransit is hiring for drivers in Campbell River and the Comox Valley through this posting.
