Foot passengers can still reserve their spot on the Tsawwassen-Southern Gulf Island route until March.
BC Ferries is extending their pilot project to provide more information on how customers use reservations.
Darin Guenette of BC Ferries says this will help them create fare flexibility options in the future.
All conditions of the original pilot are the same, except that the check-in time has been reduced to 30 minutes.
