There was a 90% increase across the country from 2008 in voters on Friday alone at the advanced polls.
Central poll supervisor Craig Gillis from Elections Canada says they believe this is a tremendous example of the voice people have through the vote.
He says they saw voters from all sections from the community.
Gillis adds there was also an impressive youth vote at the advanced polls.
