Comox Valley, Campbell River areas home to properties in top 100 most expensive on Island

Three properties between the Comox Valley and Campbell River areas have made it on BC Assessment’s top 100 most expensive properties on Vancouver Island.

This comes after the assessments were released for properties up and down the Island and along the coast, which mostly saw slight decreases in value. The North Island was the only place that saw increases as supply dropped but demand stayed strong.

Bubbling up into the top one hundred at No. 97 is an acreage in Fanny Bay, just outside of the Comox Valley. According to BC Assessment, the acreage on Berray Road is valued at over $7 million.

Quadra Island appears to be home to the next of the most expensive properties in the area. According to BC Assessment, the acreage on Hyacinthe Road is valued at over $8 million, putting it at No. 67.

The most expensive property on the list also falls in the Campbell River Rural area. Found on Cortes Island, the No. 11 spot on the list is taken by an acreage worth over $12.4 million, according to BC Assessment.

Over 387,000 properties were assessed on Vancouver Island this year with a total real estate value of $386 billion.
