Campbell River RCMP are still investigating after they seized a shot gun and ammunition from a property near the Quinsam Crossing Shell.
Police say the call came in around 6:00 a.m. on Feb. 12 after reports of a 46-year-old man entering a residence carrying what they believed to be a case containing a rifle inside the We Wai Kai First Nation lands near the commercial development.
According to a media release, police arrested the man on the scene, but the incident is still under investigation. The man is known to police.
RCMP is asking anyone with information to contact the Campbell River detachment at 250-286-6221.
