Campbell River’s warming centre is opening tonight because of cold temperatures.
The city says the centre is open to all short-term stays and visitors may bring in pets on leashes.
They can also bring any belongings including bikes and carts.
Snacks, drinks, and seating will be available but there will be no beds.
The centre opens at 11:00 p.m. at the Community Centre and closes at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.
