Canada Post says conditions have improved and the red service alert issued yesterday has been lifted.

All operations have returned to normal.

—Monday, March 4, 2024—

Because of snow and freezing rain, Canada Post says it is suspending delivery service in Campbell River.

The mail delivery service issued a red service alert today (Monday), and they will not be sending their delivery agents out. They add service will resume once conditions improve and it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, they are encouraging you to clear all ice from your walkways, sidewalks, stairs and driveways to make sure there is safe access for visitors and mail carriers.

Updates will be posted on the Canada Post website as well as X and Facebook.

If you have any questions, you can call Canada Post’s customer service team online or by phone at 1-866-607-6301.
