Community safety survey wants your feedback to improve Campbell River

The city wants feedback from the public on developing a new community safety plan.

Mayor Kermit Dahl says the goal is to “take strategic, informed action to reduce crime, provide necessary supports, and make Campbell River a livable and walkable city” for everyone.

The survey requires registration and does ask some personal questions, but the city says results will be kept anonymous.

The survey will be open for the rest of the month. The city is working with the Canadian Centre for Safer Communities to develop the plan, which will have a draft finalized by December.
